V & C Collectables
My wife, Vicki, and I started this business really by accident.
A good friend of ours was having a real problem dealing with the death of her parents. Her parents had actually passed away several years ago, and our friend was not dealing with it at all.
Her childhood home had sat vacant for several years, and had recently been vandalized.
When my friend told me about the vandalism, my wife and discussed it and offered to go into the home and prepare it for an estate sale.
After several years, our goal was to help her settle the estate and move on.
Our friend agreed and we recieved a key to the home. Little did we know, that it would actually take us 3 months of work just to get ready.
What we found astounded us.
My friends parents were both retired 2nd world war veterans, with a history and property that truely set us to thinking about history.
After 3 months of work, we had the estate sale, and sold huge amounts of truly collectible items.
These items ranged from true "vintage 2nd world war uniforms for both men and women. Old classic wooden toys, that brought back memories of old.
I even found two Presidential citations for Cpt Krause and his airborne unit from the battle of Bastion.
When the sale was over, we had a large inventory of unique items that it seemed just wrong to donate to charity.
Thus began V&C Collectibles.
Now we seek out items that we see of value and seek to find them a good home.
At the time of my first posting with The Internet Collectors Bazaar, our inventory included, but was not limited to the few items listed below.
We hope you find value and can take an item or two into your home.
Thanks and God Bless
Currently available
An original "Steamer Trunk" : This is a very nice steamer trunk.
